ANSC 489 - Companion and Exotic Animal Management3 Credit Hours Principles of nutrition, physiology, breeding, handling, and history of breeds of common household pets, zoo animals, and animals used in scientific research. Specific species requirements and peculiarities. Laws and agencies governing use of laboratory animals. Laboratory analysis of blood metabolites commonly used to monitor health and nutritional status.
