GERM 383 - Aiming at Sustainability: Approaches to 21st Century Global Challenges in German-Speaking Countries

This course focuses on environmental history and politics in the German-speaking countries. Historical documents, policies, strategy reports, and other sources (literature, film, art, etc.) serve as foundation for analyzing selected historical and contemporary examples from the local, state, and national levels.

Readings and discussions in English.
