SPED 416 - Effective Instruction for Students with Learning Disabilities and Other Academic Difficulties3 Credit Hours Determining and implementing best practices in assessment and instruction, both remediation and accommodation strategies, for students with learning disabilities, including dyslexia, and other academic difficulties. Understanding and applying high-leverage evidence-based practices, strategy-based instruction, assessment, and progress monitoring, and databased decision-making.
