COSC 370 - Introduction to Scientific Computing3 Credit Hours The design, analysis, and implementation of numerical algorithms for solving problems in science and engineering. Emphasis on program design, including data structures, computational complexity, scientific computing environments, and high-performance software packages.
Credit Restriction: Students may not receive credit for both COSC 370 and MATH 371 . (RE) Prerequisite(s): COSC 202 with a grade of C or better, and MATH 251 or MATH 257 with a grade of C or better.
