Admissions Standards/Procedures

An academic prerequisite for the certificate program is a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Applicants must meet the minimum admission criteria established by the Graduate Council.

EF 563 - Introduction to Fire Protection Engineering (Cross-listed, same as CE 585 and NE 584)
Technical concentration - Complete these three courses (9 credit hours):
EF 564 - Enclosure Fire Dynamics
EF 567 - Forensic Engineering
EF 575 - High Performance Computer Modeling and Visualization

Non-Course Requirements

To receive the certificate, students must:

complete the Graduate Certificate Course Verification Form and
through MyUTK, apply to graduate from the certificate program.
