The minor consists of 18 hours taken from courses offered by at least three different academic departments, selected from the courses listed in either Interdisciplinary Programs Major, BA – Latin American and Caribbean Studies Concentration – Brazilian Studies Track or Interdisciplinary Programs Major, BA – Latin American and Caribbean Studies Concentration – General Studies Track . Students pursuing the minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies are expected to satisfy the College-level foreign language requirement with one of the languages from the region: French, Portuguese or Spanish.
