The Master of Science degree with a major in Business Analytics is designed as preparation for a career in the application of analytics and quantitative methods to complex problems in all areas of business.
Business Analytics coursework will expose students to a broad range of decision analysis techniques and tools and facilitate the application of these methodologies to real-world business problems. The coursework will further integrate communication and teamwork skills with a knowledge base in business analytics.

Admissions Standards/Procedures
- Formal online application submitted to the Office of Graduate Admissions
- Two applicant recommendation forms
- GRE or GMAT official scores
- Applications are encouraged from all majors, but a quantitative background and proficiency in a computer language is required.
Academic Standards
- A grade of D or below in any core course is grounds for dismissal from the Master’s in Business Analytics Program.

36 graduate credit hours
Required Courses
- Core Requirements (25.5 credit hours)
- Applied Specialization Area (10.5 graduate credit hours)
- Must be selected in consultation with and approved by the student’s advisor.
Non-Course Requirements
- In lieu of Comprehensive Exams, students must complete and pass a 1-semester project (BZAN 550 ) as part of the degree requirement.
