Understanding and application of data mining methods. Data preparation; exploratory data analysis and visualization; cluster analysis; logistic regression; decision trees; neural networks; association rules; model assessment; and other topics. Applications to business problems. Use of standard computer packages.
Registration Restriction(s): Master of Science - Business Analytics major, Dual MS-MBA Program, Business Analytics major or permission of instructor. Minimum student level – graduate.
