The Department of Biosystems Engineering and Soil Science offers three undergraduate degree programs – Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Construction Science and Agricultural Systems, and Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Soil Sciences. Biosystems engineering is a four-year program, accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org, emphasizing engineering applications to biological systems. Construction science and agricultural systems is a four-year program for students interested in construction management, agricultural technology, or off-road vehicle technology. Environmental and soil sciences is a strong science-based program for students interested in environmental science or soil science. Minors in either environmental and soil sciences or in biosystems engineering technology are also available. More detailed descriptions of each program are included with the curricular material that follows.
