COSC 421 - Computational Cognitive Neuroscience3 Credit Hours Survey of computational cognitive neuroscience. The focus is on the neuroscience of cognitive processes, including perception, categorization, memory, language, action, and executive control. Course work makes use of computer simulations of neural networks to model cognitive processes and to test hypotheses about their neural implementations.
Credit Restriction: Students cannot receive credit for both COSC 421 and COSC 521. Recommended Background: Senior standing.
