BIOL 106 - The Living City3 Credit Hours More than half the world’s population lives in cities and is directly involved in ecological and evolutionary processes governing urban environments. Cities are unique ecosystems that develop novel organismal communities, alter weather patterns, and concentrate resources. The course will investigate urban ecosystems, and the health and financial implications for people.
