Students will develop and practice skills to interpret from English to ASL in various settings. Students will participate in real-time interpreting exercises with feedback from peers and instructors. Students will learn consecutive and simultaneous interpreting skills and strategies. Course discussions include cross-cultural issues and social justice matters in the Deaf and interpreting communities.
