MATH 508 - Statistics for Teachers3 Credit Hours Explores the mathematics behind major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. Topics include basic statistical measures, basic probability, sampling distributions, simulation of sampling distributions, the Central Limit Theorem, Statistical Inference, estimating population parameters, and hypothesis testing. Credit Restriction: May not apply toward mathematics major (Master of Science).
