CLAS 465 - Archaeology of the Trojan War

3 Credit Hours
Seminar focusing on the physical and written evidence for the Trojan War and its historical context. Students compare cultural information from Homeric epics with archaeological and textual evidence from Troy, Anatolia, and the Aegean in the Late Bronze and Early Iron Ages in order to arrive at their own conclusions regarding the historicity of the Trojan War. Writing Emphasis course.
