EDPY 577 - Statistics in Applied Fields I

3 Credit Hours
Applications of descriptive and inferential statistics to problems in applied fields. Topics include data visualization, central tendency, variability, correlations, introduction to probability, normal distribution, interval estimation, and univariate hypothesis testing. Use of statistical software to analyze data.
Recommended Background: 1 year of college mathematics and an elementary course in statistics or consent of instructor.
