ANTH 474 - Basic Molecular Biology Techniques2 Credit Hours Provides advanced undergraduate students with practical experience in basic molecular biology techniques. Combines lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on wet lab experience. Students will be able to perform and understand the fundamental principles of the most common types of DNA analyses by the course’s end.
Contact Hour Distribution: 1 hour lecture and 2 hours lab. (RE) Prerequisite(s): ANTH 110 * or ANTH 117 * and BIOL 101 *-BIOL 102 * or BIOL 113 *-BIOL 114 *-BIOL 115 * or BIOL 150 * or equivalent. Recommended Background: Some prior wet lab experience.
