BCMB 471 - Biophysical Chemistry

3 Credit Hours
Physicochemical principles with applications to biological systems. Thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium, solution chemistry, transport, electrochemistry, kinetics, enzyme catalyzed reactions.

(RE) Prerequisite(s): BIOL 102 * or BIOL 150 *-BIOL 159 * or BIOL 113 *-BIOL 115 * or equivalent; and CHEM 260 , CHEM 359 , CHEM 360 .
Recommended Background: Calculus.
