NURS 560 - Mental Health Nursing I

6 Credit Hours
Theories of advanced therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing actual and potential mental health problems: advanced practice nursing in specialty of mental health; clinical practice with clients of various ages in acute care and community settings.
Contact Hour Distribution: 2 didactic and 4 practicum.
(RE) Prerequisite(s): 504 and 505 and 515.
(RE) Corequisite(s): 507 and 510.
Credit Level Restriction: Graduate credit only.
Registration Restriction(s): Master of Science in Nursing - nursing major. Minimum student level – graduate.
