ECE 446 - Electromagnetic Compatibility

3 Credit Hours
Principles and practices to avoid interference among and within electrical devices. Parameters and coupling for dipole, biconical, and log-periodic antennas. High-frequency effects in circuit elements. Radiated and conducted emissions and susceptibility. Crosstalk, shielding, electrostatic discharge, and EMC regulations. Includes Level 1 design projects which require laboratory work.
