AGEE 211 - Foundations of Agricultural and Extension Education

3 Credit Hours
History and philosophy of agricultural education and extension education. Major areas of emphasis include the historical development of agricultural education in the public schools and the federal extension education system. Formal and non-formal methods of education used, audiences served, organizational structure, and programming emphases will be studied by students. Foundation course for departmental majors and service course for those interested in related careers.
