uTrack Requirements

Universal Tracking (uTrack) is an academic monitoring system designed to help students stay on track for timely graduation. In order to remain on track, students must complete the minimum requirements for each tracking semester, known as milestones. Milestones include successful completion of specified courses and/or attainment of a minimum GPA. uTrack requirements only affect full-time, degree-seeking students.

Program Notes

• Students must complete all field experiences and student teaching requirements
• Students must pass all required Praxis examinations for licensure
• Students should work with advisors to develop 2-year, 3-year, and 4-year completion plans as needed

Licensure Requirements

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be eligible to apply for Tennessee teacher licensure in Elementary Education (K-5) as their initial licensure. Students will also be eligible for the Special Education Interventionist (K-8) add-on endorsement.  Students must pass required Praxis examinations for Elementary Education and Special Education and meet all state licensure requirements.
