Undergraduate Certificate Type: Add-On, Stand-Alone
Credit Hours Required
9 Credit Hours Admission Standards/Porcedures
Students seeking admission to the Undergraduate Certificate must meet the admissions standards established by the Undergraduate Council. No grades below C are acceptable for students wishing to receive this certificate. Complete 3 additional hours of German 300 or above:
Choose one course: Non-Course Requirements
- Each course must be completed with a grade of C or better.
- At least 6 credit hours must be taken at UT.
- At least 3 credit hours must be unique to this certificate and not overlap with language requirement, another major, minor, or certificate.
- Applications to declare this certificate will be made through the WLC Department’s Undergraduate Studies Office and reviewed by the German Program Chair.
- At least 3 credit hours used to satisfy a certificate’s requirements must be unique to any other credential (certificate, minor, or major) earned by the student.
