Students seeking admission to the Undergraduate Certificate must meet the admissions standards established by the Undergraduate Council.

Credit Hours Required:

The Animal Behavior Certificate is 9 credit hours.

Required Courses:

Complete 9 credits of coursework from the following list:

• ANBV 201 - Curious Lives of Animals 3 Credit Hours
• ANSC 490 - Special Topics in Animal Sciences 1-3 Credit Hours
• EEB 450 - Animal Behavior 3 Credit Hours
• EEB 459 - Animal Behavior Laboratory 3 Credit Hours
• EEB 482 - Animal Care Internship 2 Credit Hours
• EEB 489 - Avian Field Methods Internship 1-2 Credit Hours
• PSYC 310 - Learning and Thinking 3 Credit Hours
• PSYC 370 - Evolutionary Psychology and Ethology 3 Credit Hours
• PSYC 301 - Foundations of Behavioral Neuroscience 3 Credit Hours
• PSYC 454 - Animal Communication 3 Credit Hours

Optional Courses:

A maximum of 3 credit hours from the following list may be applied to the required 9 credits of coursework:
