Anthropology Major, BA - Forensic Concentration

The Forensic concentration in Anthropology provides undergraduate students with a unique hands on program geared for work or research in the medicolegal community upon successful completion of the degree. The program emphasizes how anthropologists contribute to the forensic sciences in a unique manner. Courses provide students with practical experiences in the handling of biological evidence while encouraging ethical and responsible conduct. The unique series of 1 credit practical courses that supplement more traditional course structures make this a distinct academic major.

Major Requirements:
The major consists of at least 30 hours. Concentration Requirements
Select one course:
If a 3-credit hour course is selected to fulfill this requirement, take one additional ANTH 300 or 400-level course to complete the major requirements.
Select at least one upper-division anthropology course from each of the following four lists.
