The Biomedical Nutrition Science Minor may benefit students pursuing graduate training in other disciplines, such as food science, animal science, biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, microbiology, comparative and experimental medicine, and others.

3.00 grade point average for graduate courses Credit Hours Required
10 graduate credit hours Non-Course Requirements
The student’s graduate committee must approve the minor area of study, and at least one member of the student’s graduate committee must be selected from the minor area. Students declare a minor at the time of filing the Admission to Candidacy form. The minor is awarded simultaneously with the degree conferral and is listed on the transcript.
