Forest Industry Minor

Forest industry offers a number of employment opportunities for graduates from forestry, engineering, and other STEM degree programs. The forest industry minor is designed to prepare students in these disciplines with an introduction to the industry and skill set required to be competitive in this arena.

Minor Requirements

The minor consists of 15-16 credit hours. Prerequisities will not be waived.

Complete:

BAS 464 - Operations Analytics 3 Credit Hours
FORS 331 - Wood Science 2 Credit Hours
FORS 332 - Forest Products Industry 1 Credit Hours

Select one course from the following:

FORS 329 - Forest Resource Inventory 3 Credit Hours
IE 200 - Engineering Statistics 3 Credit Hours
STAT 251 - Probability and Statistics for Scientists and Engineers 3 Credit Hours

Select one from the following:
