6 Four courses selected in consultation with faculty advisor. Students are encouraged to select courses from a specialty area including sports journalism, science journalism, media management, print/web journalism, broadcast journalism, visual communication, and magazine journalism.
7 Six hours in the College of Communication and Information, including Journalism and Electronic Media.
8 Fifteen hours in the College of Arts and Sciences.
9 Any upper-division political science course.
10 Any course not taught in advertising, journalism and electronic media, or public relations.
