Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: College of Social Work

The BSSW Honors Program provides a small group of academically high-achieving social work majors with an enriching, engaging, and individualized undergraduate academic experience and an opportunity to earn both a BSSW and an MSSW degree in five years. Honors students who satisfactorily complete all requirements for the Honors program and BSSW degree are eligible to apply for conditional admission into the Advanced Standing MSSW Program by completing the graduate application. Conditional admission is reserved for only those Honors students who enroll in the Advanced Standing MSSW Program in the summer semester immediately following completion of the BSSW degree and Honors Program. All declared social work majors with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 are invited to apply for admission to the BSSW Honors Program.

uTrack Requirements

Universal Tracking (uTrack) is an academic monitoring system designed to help students stay on track for timely graduation. In order to remain on track, students must complete the minimum requirements for each tracking semester, known as milestones. Milestones include successful completion of specified courses and/or attainment of a minimum GPA. uTrack requirements only affect full-time, degree-seeking students.
