Major Requirements
The major consists of 30 upper-division (300- or 400-level) hours in economics. III. Complete A or B:
A. Select 12 hours of 300- or 400-level ECON courses B. Complete: - 1 hour BUAD 200 - Integrity: Becoming an Ethical Leader and Effective Communicator
- 1 hour BUAD 300 - Insight: Becoming Personally and Professionally Aware as a Leader
- 1 hour BUAD 405 - Impact: Becoming a Leader Who Makes a Positive Difference
- 9 hours 300- or 400-level ECON courses
Honors Concentration – Economics (Arts and Sciences)
The major consists of either 30 upper-division hours in economics or 27 hours of upper-division hours in economics and a three-hour sequence in professional development. Admission is limited to students with an overall GPA of 3.2 who have earned a B or better in ECON 311 , ECON 313 , and two other upper-division economics courses. ECON 381 (Econometrics) is strongly recommended to Honors students, and valuable to take prior to the Honors Thesis. In addition to ECON 498 students in the honors concentration are required to have 9 hours of other honors courses which may include honors-by-contract courses. A. Select:
