Minimum course requirements are MGT 617 , MGT 618 , MGT 623 , MGT 624 and MGT 625 .
The Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Organizations provides a research-oriented terminal degree for those seeking a college or university faculty position or a position in an organization that conducts business or social research. Students pursuing this program will take a minimum of 45 hours of course work (beyond that required for an MBA) that covers concepts and issues in strategy, entrepreneurship and organizations, a support field of study, and research methods. Upon completion of the course work and comprehensive exams, each candidate conducts dissertation research on a unique topic that adds to the knowledge base of the discipline. Successful completion and defense of the dissertation qualifies the candidate to pursue academic opportunities at research-oriented universities.
