Gerontology Graduate Certificate


The graduate certificate in gerontology is intended for those interested in working with and/or on behalf of older adults and their family members. The 21-credit hour certificate follows the guidelines of the Association of Gerontology in Higher Education and is offered under the purview of the College of Social Work. The completed “Gerontology Certificate Program Application” must be submitted and signed off by the chair of the Gerontology Certificate Program. All graduate certificates require 3 credit hours (1 course) over and above that which is required for the MSSW program.
