The Master of Science degree with a major in Business Analytics is designed as preparation for a career in the application of analytics and quantitative methods to complex problems in all areas of business.
Business Analytics coursework will expose students to a broad range of decision analysis techniques and tools and facilitate the application of these methodologies to real-world business problems. The coursework will further integrate communication and teamwork skills with a knowledge base in business analytics.
Admission
The master’s program requires three applicant recommendation forms and the GRE or GMAT, along with the formal online application submitted to the Graduate Admissions Office. Applications are encouraged from all majors, but a quantitative background and proficiency in a computer language is required.

*Core Requirements: BZAN 530 , BZAN 531 , BZAN 533 , BZAN 535 , BZAN 540 , BZAN 542 , BZAN 543 , BZAN 544 , BZAN 545 , BZAN 550 , and BZAN 548 . A grade of D or below in any core course is grounds for dismissal from the Master’s in Business Analytics Program.
In addition, ACCT 506 is recommended for those who have no prior coursework in cost accounting and BZAN 505 and SCM 505 are recommended for those with interest in supply chain analytics.
The degree requires the completion of an internship/practicum that is relevant to the program. In lieu of comprehensive exams, non-thesis students must complete and pass a 1-semester project as part of the degree requirement.
