The physics major consists 38 hours. Students who wish to apply physics to other career goals such as chemistry, mathematics, education, law, medicine, or journalism should consult with the department curriculum chair about appropriate alternate courses.

General Concentration (12 hours)
Select 12 hours:
300-400 level physics or 200-400 level astronomy courses
or
coordinated coursework in an area of the student’s special interest to be chosen by the student in consultation with a departmental advisor. |
