The human resource management program prepares students to work as HR generalists or specialists. Topics covered include job analysis, the recruitment and selection of employees, employee training and development, performance appraisal, the management of compensation and benefit plans, employee occupational health and safety, labor-management relations, and strategic HR. The program combines social/psychological elements with an understanding of current employment law.
