HIST 382 - Archaeology of the Biblical World3 Credit Hours Introduces the archaeology and material culture of ancient Israel and the biblical world, from the Epi-Paleolithic Period (10,000 – 8,500 BCE) to the end of the Iron Age in the 6th century BCE. Cultural and social influences from the Mediterranean and Near East on ancient Israel will be emphasized along with important discoveries related to biblical history and literature. Writing-emphasis course.
