AC 415 - Software-Hardware Interfaces3 Credit Hours
Basics of embedded systems and microcontrollers, internet-of-things (IoT) architecture and protocols (MQTT, CoAP), sensor integration and data collection, edge computing and real-time data processing, IoT security considerations. Hands-on experience: (1) Developing IoT applications using microcontrollers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi. (2) Integrating sensors and actuators with IoT platforms. (3) Implementing communication protocols and data handling, (4) Creating end-to-end IoT solutions and prototypes, (5) Multicontroller systems.
