MUCO 452 - Ethnomusicology: Histories & Frameworks

3 Credit Hours
Considers histories and frameworks within ethnomusicology and its relationships to allied fields including folklore and anthropology. Explores ethnomusicology’s intersections with studies of folk, ethnic, world, traditional, and popular musics. Includes instruction in ethnographic methods and opportunity to conduct ethnographic research.
