The course examines the evolution of recording technologies-from analog formats to the digital era and the rise of streaming services-along with the recent revival of vinyl and cassette media. Additional topics include the growth of record labels and music publishers, the shaping of copyright policies and business models, the role of radio broadcasting and live performance, distribution systems, and the cultural significance of recorded music.
