NURS 405* - Clinical Immersion III

2 Credit Hours
Provides beginning students the opportunity to practice health promotion, health restoration, and health maintenance within a specialty area such as childbearing women, children, individuals with mental health conditions, emergency trauma, requiring critical care, palliative and hospice care, or aging adults. Builds on the foundation of nursing knowledge, communication skills, and critical reasoning to address unique needs of the specialty population selected. Experiences are in a variety of settings, supplemented with simulation.
