HIEU 432 - Medicine in the Third Reich

3 Credit Hours
Examines the cultural history of medicine in Germany from the late nineteenth century to 1945. Includes discussion of race, gender, and class in medicine, and ideas about health, illness, disability, and the body in a dictatorship that aimed to realize a program of biological and social engineering of unprecedented scope.
