IES 400 - Technology Commercialization3 Credit Hours
Examination of technology innovation and commercialization applied across several important topics of entrepreneurship including technology development, technology transfer, intellectual property development, market research and planning, and knowledge management. The class will develop a business plan including: marketing plan, sales plan, exit plans, financial plans, and strategies for raising capital in the process of launching a technology-based business. The course will include exercises to implement business strategies in entrepreneurship.
Grading Restriction: Satisfactory/No Credit grading only.
Registration Restriction(s): Minimum student level – junior
