NURS 483S - Clinical Immersion V

2 Credit Hours
This course builds on prior clinical immersion experiences, enhancing students’ abilities to apply theoretical and evidence-based knowledge in community and population health settings. Emphasizing person-centered care, students will collaborate with diverse communities to address health promotion, disease prevention, and social drivers/determinants of health. Through community-based academic service learning, students will practice reflective techniques that foster personal growth and professional development. Clinical experiences, enriched by simulation, support students in honing nursing skills, effective communication, and interprofessional collaboration to optimize population health outcomes.

Grading Restriction: Satisfactory/No credit
