JMED 532 - Social Journalism3 Credit Hours
Students are introduced to a variety of social media and the ways in which they may be used by journalists for information gathering, reporting, publicity, and engagement. Topics covered will include curation, verification, ethical considerations, and analytics.
Contact Hour Distribution: Lecture and lab
Credit Restriction: Students cannot receive credit for both JMED 422 and 532.
Registration Restriction(s): Minimum student level – graduate
