IEC 455 - Assessment for Diverse Learners3 Credit Hours This course examines the practice of assessing young children (birth-3rd grade) with disabilities. Topics include gathering information to assist in the development of tiered interventions and the process of making referrals. Students will explore informal assessment techniques, standardized assessments, and screening instruments. Students will analyze the purpose and limitations of assessment instruments and engage in instructional planning based on assessment data.
