An introduction to the elements and principles of design using a variety of media. Studio projects, lectures and discussion will explore how the principles of design transcend media. Readings and discussion will inform how to analyze and critique contemporary art. This section is for non-art majors who would like an introduction to studio art mark making with a concentration on surface development.
