Macroeconomic indicators, money and banking, monetary and fiscal policy, business cycles, economic growth, international trade and finance.

Credit Restriction: Students who have completed ECON 217 * and ECON 218* cannot receive credit for ECON 201 * or ECON 207 *. Students with a C or better in ECON 218* cannot receive credit for ECON 213 *.
Registration Restriction(s): Majors in the Haslam College of Business and Baker School of Public Policy and Public Affairs or Economics majors in the College of Arts and Sciences or the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics in the Herbert College of Agriculture only.
