ANTH 314 - Latinos in the United States

3 Credit Hours
Histories, cultures and politics of various Latinos in the U.S., including Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans, Cubans, and recent immigrants. With a writing focus, this course requires a student to complete at least 2,000 words of writing during the semester. This normally consists of at least one sustained formal essay or report of 1,000 or more words, plus additional writing assignments such as in-class essay exams, journals, book reviews, short-response papers, and the like.
