POLS 312 - Popular Culture and American Politics

3 Credit Hours
Popular culture related to American politics and government focusing on the role of film, television, fiction, music, drama, art, and sports. With a writing focus, this course requires a student to complete at least 2,000 words of writing during the semester. This normally consists of at least one sustained formal essay or report of 1,000 or more words, plus additional writing assignments such as in-class essay exams, journals, book reviews, short-response papers, and the like.
