EEPS 310 - Mineralogy

4 Credit Hours
Introduction to the concepts of crystal chemistry, optical mineralogy, and geochemical analysis of the important rock-forming minerals. Laboratory includes hand-specimen, microscopic, and X-ray diffraction identification of minerals, and electron microprobe and energy dispersive spectroscopy analysis.
