EDAM 514 - Leading Professional Learning Communities3 Credit Hours
Leading Professional Learning Communities is designed to assist aspiring school leaders in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and dispositions associated with leading professional learning communities in schools. Students in the course will learn how to develop, support, and nurture teacher and staff efficacy in meeting the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of each student. The focus of the course is on developing leadership character in aspiring school leaders in order to develop and sustain a positive learning community that nurtures and supports professional learning and instructional practice.
